ABOUT THE PRODUCTION "King Taco Hut and The Mystery Map of Mystery" was directed by writer/director John French, who's previous credits include the acclaimed parody "Todd Martin: The E! True Hollywood Story", the cult classic dark comedy "Thud.", and the hilariously bad "Switch-Over", among others (French's latest film "Burrito" is currently making it's way through the festival circuit). Nick Urban ("The Orders In Hand"), John Christen ("Hobby Horse"), and Kathryn Sherman ("Hardwired: A Love Story") star in this short little comedy about life, friendship, and tacos. Along with the all-star cast is an all-star crew consisting of cinematographer Richard J. Kuzma Jr. ("Wish You Were Here"), sound designer Jonathan Fischer ("The Orders In Hand"), and assistant director Michael Battle ("Troll: An American Tragedy"). The rest of the crew is filled out by AC's Jamie Campione, Nathan Lauterstein, and Heather Bennett, Grips and Gaffers Kelly Scofield and Travis Barnhart, and PA's James VanPatten and Travis Breitenbach. Mark Samarasinghe, Jeremy F. Kirsch, and Richard Kuzma are composing the score for the film. The film was shot on Fuji stock 16mm F250D/T and F500D/T, and processed at Medallian PFA in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Post production and sound design were completed in Rochester, NY at Third Slate Productions and RIT. Questions or comments: jrpf@thirdslate.com |
